"Our children are our greatest treasures" and our school is one where every child does matter. We strive to ensure our pupils will: be safe, healthy and happy, enjoy learning and achieve success, make a positive contribution to our school and society and achieve economic well-being.

I knew, in my heart, that we were a good school, and I have been telling prospective parents that if we were inspected then “good” would be our current grading – Ofsted proved me right.  I am now working with the best staff I have ever had and as the report says – morale is high.  Although we are committed to raising standards, we all put the children at the centre of everything we do.  This school is a place where we try to do the best for all in our community and also in extended communities.  The Governors are extremely challenging but supportive and work tirelessly for the school.  We are also pleased that the majority of parents work in a positive partnership with the school to achieve the best for their children.  The report is certainly an excellent start for 2012 – so it’s onwards and upwards.
